For anyone interested... I spoke with a VP at WIC. WIC has been granted a VOD license by the CRTC in Canada and will be launching EDD sometime in 1998. I was impressed with the information I received. I believe EDD (Electronic Digital Delivery) has some advantages over true video on demand and lends itself better to what the consumer may be looking for including playback, pause and other features. I also believe this system is more technically feasible than other systems being developed. Anyone interested to know more can e-mail me.

Ed,

I was on the phone as soon as it hit $.15 and was told it was probably a disgruntled shareholder dumping. Whatever it is, the company better work on getting some good news out there or be prepared for more to follow!
