I wasn't one of those people. I thought he was sleazy since I learned of him in 04…..he wreaks of it. Yet, some people didn't at all see that. I find this quite interesting. How people can sense, or not sense things about people. How what is so obvious to some does not even create a blip on others radar…but I digress.

Yeah, its confusing. I learned to keep my mouth shut around Edward supporters. There was no winning that conversation.

I think Obama is very handsome ;-)……For sure, his 04 speech is what initially attracted him to me, then hearing his 02 Iraq War speech sealed for me his pragmatic, intelligent, deliberative, and non-absolutist style…

Yeah, he's handsome in kind of an oddball well. ;)

I missed the 2004 speech. My first exposure to him was in a high school gym here in Seattle in 2006. I was shockingly mesmerized as I stood jammed in with 1000 other people in a very crowded room listening to him speak.

He has by no means been perfect nor near perfect. I still think he was the right person at this time in our history…You don't but too many haters(D's included) forget the mess of a country and a world he inherited…

I agree.....right person; right time. I think history will decide he was one of our better presidents.

Unfortunately Obama is bought and paid for by the same shadowy characters that knocked off JFK when he crossed them. Today the stakes are much higher cause the profits are astronomical and you also have Israel wild card and the dominance of Zionists in the media, the military, wall street..you name it. You can see it just in the way Christie, a big supporter of the MIC, is now the new messiah paraded by impartial CNN the past two days. All they have to do is play three more years of prevent defense.. :I predict they will defuse the tea party all in the game of the corporate cronyists preferring Christie's winning coalition including enough woman and latinos. Is no different than moderate LBJ becoming prez immediate working deals behind closed doors expansion of the MIC, going to war in Vietnam but giving the left their crumbs like civil rights and the welfare state to reach their bigger objectives. Sadly Obama has been a big disappointment on drawing down our MIC. reducing out record wealth disparity and growing our economy from the middle out. But I also now realize the man had no chance and probably would not be alive today if he had crossed the shadowy figures in power. Oddly saving us from great depression 2 just made it worse.
