It's like anything in life taxi, oppurtunity presents itself and you belly up to the bar. Sit there and wonder too much and it passes you by. Do you grab at it blindly and recklessly; or do you go for it in a lucid and control manner? Sometimes you are right, other times you are wrong. Such is the nature of the game. There is nothing here other than a company got a lease in a part of the world that is intriguing. However the real prize is around the Caspian and the sea itself. That is where the majors are tripping all over themselves. This lease appears closer to the Ural Sea. That's not to say that there isn't potential of a big find, for now that is all it is; potential. Many a region was written off only to prove in the end to yield vast amounts of oil. Other area's were touted to have vast potential, yet yield little. Pennzoil Caspian Sea play to date has disappointed to drive that home. Not to say that it ain't their, but on the first try it didn't pan out. That was done with 3-D siesmic. I've got my small position that isn't much of my portfolio, just in case there is a big field that yields billions. I'll wait for further results; not in rumour, hype, spin or PR releases, but in cold, hard results form the drilled and tested well. That is the final arbiter. I won't miss out either, becasue unlike some, I'll wait for those results before investing a larger portion of my portfolio. Seems that's a Lynchism. That seems to offend some, so be it. That seems to get the usual putdowns and insults, so be it. As Sycamore put it, now I'll put it another way: I wonder when the drilling results are in (not siesmic) and they are disappointing; I wonder what the bulls and the attackers will be saying??
