So, wait a minute. You mean people actually thought that once corporations had a fix for the Y2K problem they'd KEEP BUYING FIXES, THEREBY SPURRING THE GROWTH OF THE Y2K..."INDUSTRY"?! This is exactly the kind of hairbrained reasoning that cost Larry $2 billion today. He must have as good an idea as anyone of just how much money there is to be made off Y2K, THAT'S HIS JOB! The development and growth of database applications is ORCL's bread and butter, obviously. This Y2K silliness is little more than a side order of steaming Who Hash.
