Hotel maids at $15? Wow.

That would be a great job, especially since the guests would continue leaving tips. Hotel owners will have to increase rates and probably keep their staff at a minimum. People needing entry level employment will find it much harder to find jobs.

15 bucks/h minimum is pretty crazy. Over the years, i used to employ many youngsters, part time, to help in the office - papers, filing, etc. At such high hourly rates none of this would not be possible. Medicare would pay us $62 for a "level 3" visit -- and taking care of old people with multiple problems, on several medications - takes a long time.
