As usual you can blither about %'s... but It's been a main driver of debt (including lack of surplus of course) for decades.... period. The fact that there are others is a nice obfuscation, but it means nothing on the topic of how we got here and what to do now. It remains an obvious thing to cut to pay down the debt... show me the threat out there, or basically you're just playing dumb again. When republicans wake up and agree to cut defense... they'll have some credibility... until then they are probably going to fade. DAK
