Clinton: On anotherthread, I believe - I put a story about reading
my firm's traders' position sheets - when I was a green trainee in
downtown L.A. Well, I sholud have also added that ALL the young
traders in my firm - kept chart books. Of several diff. kinds, incl
point and figure (today no doubt "candlesticks", too). They also
plotted moving averages, exponentials, etc. This was only on the
stocks each one traded + maybe the DJIA. (No Nasdaq then).
I asked one why he did this - could it tell him where the stock he
made a market in (for a living) was going??? Hell no!!! He
replied. I just want to know where the pigeons are located and
a what price to shake the tree. P.S. It has been my experience
that "when they bring the paddy wagon to raid the "house" - they
take ALL the girls. Regards. Don
