Amat is tough to figure.

There is a close balance between puts and calls on open interest.

One exception is the 20 price strike - more puts sold than calls sold - so under 20 the MM gives up inventory.

It is very close all the way down to 16 on the other strikes.

Most unusual vs other semi stocks.

Maybe merger has had an effect on it ? - I'm clueless other than the puts at 10 I sold 12 months ago look like they'll expire worthless in January.

Speaking only on the technical, NFLX doesn't look too bad to me. One should be able to make money selling covered calls on it. With the expectation to get out if it breaks 280.

You made the right call <vbg> on AMAT.

BTW, I am considering a position in MLNX once it stabilizes.
