If I knew they were making $15 I would stop tipping. I am very generous right now in that regard.

i always tip.

i usually drink jack daniels. (some times i know bartender - place - or they know me - or even if they don't - and they don't have a camera - and i get strong drinks or a free drink - and i tip more.

last week - i was at a yacht club - awards were given re races - for two years - as because of hurricane sandy, award evening was cancelled last year.

i went to bar and got a jack daniels - i gave them a $10 bill. i was told it was $10.75. I gave them another dollar. they gave me a quarter and i took it. i go to nice places and pay $5 to $8 for jack daniels. often, i tip a % and if place is overpriced, i am tipping more in absolute terms. no pun intended. this bar - was basically a hole in the wall at the end of the room. i was pissed at the price and took it out on the help. when i was handed the quarter bartender added a bit to my glass. it was a stiff drink. beautiful view from the room.
