Agreed. ;-) Back to the real issue:

Is there any chance for a significant rebound prior to the earnings announcement in January (i don't think so) and how much do you think semis (in general) are in a deep (long lasting) cyclical downturn ala some of the posts on this (and other) threads? C. Johnson sees some possible short-term pressure but also a chance for a near-term rebound (is that waffling or what?) Of more interest, he also thinks that any order pushouts/slowdowns associated with Korean problems should come out in pre-announcement revisions from semi equipment mfgrs. in the next 1-2 months. With the air clear, there will then be room for a rebound, since Wall Street takes the clearing or uncertainty with a "good news" effect.
