Compassionate people are pretty easy to see. They post about compassion and their posts contain compassion. And I have lived long enough to know what compassion is and who has it and who does not. Although certain issues remain a complete mystery to me e.g: How did the south let the horrible horrible law of segregation exist until they were forced to integrate in the 1960's. How did that happen? I figured that one out when I was 9. I will never understand that degree of insensitivity; or all the other terrible things I see people do like gay bashing or sexism, or racism.
