I actually saw one for Depend briefs!

then the ads must be working !! Did it convince you to go out and buy a box?

I imagine the ads are not sold by SI but come through a 3rd party media company that just gives them the ad and the number of impressions to allocate. That's how we did it back when I had a high traffic site but that was 5 years ago and we all know how fast things change in the digital age. The advertisers aren't too smart as the media company that sent us our ads had over 100 related domains of their own and placed most ads on their own sites, without the advertisers even knowing they were the owners of the sites and the traffic was artificial as there was no real content there. A few bots to run up the Alexa numbers and they appeared to worthwhile to the advertisers. personally i thought the whole process rather fraudulent and was glad to get out of the whole deal.

That is the kind of trend that SI management should be commenting on, as part of a vision for the future which will head in an upward direction. Otherwise it's like watching a TV show's ratings should slide and slide over time.
