Glen; RE:" EVI and CKR..."

Well now lemme look at those and see what you see, Glen.

EVI Considering what he's been through, and the tone of the market(s), it sure coulda been worse, man. You got a good read. He wouldn't get ugly until he lost support at what, 52-1/2 then base support at 46-1/2 ? THAT is ugly. Keep your eyeballs on his supports. Do you think he'll shake around a bit here, Glen ? I mean, at least he isn't relentlessly selling off any more :-)

CKR You know this guy like the back of your hand, so what can I say? Doji on Friday meant that folks didn't know WHAT to do, right? After a rally, indecision is usually bearish. Got clouds comin' down over him now, as folks feel more like selling him than buying more right now.

is your post saying you're bearish on the overall market now ?

who, me? {grin} I'm always lookin' for buying ops, man. Would you go long MSFT INTC AMAT DELL QNTM or CSCO right now ? Let me know, as I have a LOT of cash sitting around doing nothing !

My post is saying we have two scenarios, Glen - we rattle around a little after making new highs, and then go up from here (eventually). Or - the persistent failure of the TechStocks (NAZ) to participate in the current UpTrend is finally taking its toll on the INDU and S&P. I "feel like" end-of year tax-loss selling is about to wash over all the losers, ( which are mostly TechStocks, right? ), but until INDU loses its UpTrend, Esteban is right-on: THE TREND IS UP.

Sure seems like a damn selective rally though, doesn't it, Glen? I mean, imagine everyone having a party, but the NAZ wasn't invited: Doesn't go up (much) when everything else is stormin'; goes down (a lot) when everything else just "corrects" back to UpTrend.

Sux, man. "If I had a HAMMER..."
