I wouldn't mind if Dana's boyfriend knocked her off, not up. . . HA! Her surly, unhappy angst is annoying. I'd compare her to Skylar. I can't tell you how many people have said to me, "I like Breaking Bad (or Homeland) but Skylar (or Dana) really irritate me."

Thanks for the tip on Lizzy Caplan's previous series - I had no idea. The reviews look great. You betcha I'm going to party down with Party Down! I could use a good laugh and if it includes Lizzy all the better.

Have you seen the IT Crowd? I just got turned on to this British series. Seems to have quite a following.

I'm into both of them.

I watched the first six episodes of Party Down, starring the lovely Lizzy Caplan, and all I can say is WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT IT SOONER! I'm savoring each episode. Each one is like a tragic, cynical, hysterical party of despair. The characters are excellent. It's like the flip side of Entourage - everyone is drowning in failure and there's no happy endings, unless you include the hookups between Adam Scott and Caplan.

I especially like the Ryan Hansen blonde dude character. He reminds me of a friend from back in the day. I just watched the episode where he has sore teeth from bleaching.

That episode includes two guys from a rap band that start commenting on the racist nature of the name Soup R' Crackers. That rapid fire exchange with Ron Donald ("It's a sound investment") was so funny!

I say we all meet at a Soup R' Crackers for the holidays.

Thanks again for the tip!
