Shirley, I read Nathan's article. The speech in it was given on October 16. It mentioned quite small sales by central banks as of that date, but there have been further sales since. Also, it didn't seem to put much weight on the 'Asian flu', which seemed to be just starting in October. Nevertheless, the article is bullish on gold -- which is a nice change from the articles that come out daily in the Globe & Mail and the Financial Post.
