Dixon Respond to of 1604 When I joined SI in 1997 it was after being on AOL discussion groups and seeing that some of the same names were posting on my stock here. It was nice to have more resources and definitely a better technology than AOL ever provided. But what happened quickly was some criminals set up shop here and lured innocent investors into a web of activities that went into bashing, discrediting (as seen from the last poster's reaction to me simply because I exposed some of these criminal types for what they were) people and companies. This was once the Facebook of its time but it's been surpassed because it tried to build mini dynasty for posters like Tokyo Joe, Mr. Pink, Auric etc. Those rabid followers pushed out the average retail investor who just wanted to participate on the stock boards for their own stock. I stopped posting on my stock in 5 years ago and just came back lately because other boards don't have photo uploads, which makes it a lot easier to show each other pictures we've found of aircraft or autos using our technology. So what is SI, a boutique website just for "oldtimers" whose were infamous for their tactics, trying to snuff out any dialogue that exposes their flaws and sometimes their downright dishonesty? I remember Elgindy PMing me saying he wasn't going to short REFR even after being solicited by others to make that call (turns out it does show up in his trial papers but not one of the stocks for which he had information on pending investigations). How much more rabid can these syndicates be and why, when it clearly violated SEC rules, was it allowed to flourish? The illegality of these activities relating to Asensio and his possible link to "wexler's" threads was outlined with all the legal documentation on asensioexposed.com So what are we here to do or protect and to discuss? Is this site providing any of us a service? ABSOLUTELY. Most REFR investors I know are in the Middle East and enjoy reading posts on Yahoo but are frustrated not to have links and having to weed through kjpod, wexler, asensio et al comments that have continued nonstop since 1998. So I am coming back to SI because I can avoid all the headaches of the past, post pictures and other data in a better format than any other board I've seen. It's the policing of the site that needs more attention. I realize that anyone can say what they think of a stock but must we endure orchestrated campaigns of bashing for years and years on end. What say you, SI? ND
