We should probably test out income averaging, and then if that doesn't work try other things. What I'd really like to see is congressmen who did NOT get a higher wage than teachers, and who did not get lush reward packages, and who could only be congressmen and women for 6 years, and who were forever barred from lobbying or working with companies they passed legislation for. Or select congressmen and women by lottery, drawing from college graduates of all kinds. That's ok with me too. Just get rid of this entrenched, greedy, stupid entitled class of morons we have now.
