re: BTW, nice hold-up today at 14

It's not over by any means. Only the best and luckiest investors responded today, the ones that keep up on their holdings religiously (i.e. the greedy). It hit the news papers today and some investors undoubtedly read about after coming home from work. The news also has to hit the slower news services on the web, numbers on profiles need to be updated (some sites only do weekly or biweekly). Then there are the INEVITABLE analyst downgrades, and then THEIR new numbers reflected in the numerous web sites.

If there is another earnings warning in a few weeks (like WDC did) this process will happen all over again. If you don't believe me, plot the WDC stock price against their two recent warnings. It will take 10-15 minutes, but it is very informative.

When the actual numbers are released, this will happen all over again.

On the good side, if you hold 18 months, I don't think anyone on this thread has suggested you could lose if the malaysian banks don't call their loans.
