<Auckland police are the biggest group of bumbling fools in the world or they're complicit in the gang rape of underage girls. And, as much as I wish they were the world's biggest idiots, all signs are pointing to the latter option. > They are both. One of the rapists is a son of a police man.

Willie Jackson and John Tamihere [brother of David Tamihere - a hideous piece of work en.wikipedia.org ] have lost all their advertizers after "she asked for it" type comments on radio. Matthew Hooton left an interview on-air with them during which he pointed out that John Tamihere is on the trust: waipareira.com and is in cahoots with Clint Rickards en.wikipedia.org Jackson and Tamihere now fired: kiwiblog.co.nz

Birds of a feather. Barbarians all. There are close associations among them.

We don't need jihadists. We have worse without them. Jihadists would be a bit scared.

It's not as bad as the USA where the police murder people who fail to instantly obey, or get panic attacks, but the trend is clear.

Mostly the police in NZ seem to focus on revenue collection from trivial traffic offenses. They are not interested in following up on crimes such as credit card fraud for example. There's no money in it.

In fairness to the police, the gutter culture of NZ means there's a mess to be cleaned up each weekend, often including murder these days. Virtuous Victorian Values are very thin on the ground and declining, in both the public and the police.

But we should not treat them as criminals. We should think of them as organ donors.

Matt McCarten: nzherald.co.nz I wanted to discuss how the debate on the show had been handled; the disturbing role of the cops; corporations promoting sexualisation of film, music and youth culture; lolly alcohol aimed at girls; parents; schools; education; peer pressure; plus personal conduct and accountability.
I arrived late just as the show was starting. I wasn't aware Matthew had tweeted widely before the show that our hosts were in for a drubbing.

Talk about cutting the air with a knife. There was none of the usual banter. Matthew's opening that the Amy interview was "morally and journalistically cretinous" ended dialogue.

JT's sneer that Matthew was carrying out a predetermined stunt was quickly followed by Matthew's swipe at JT's on-going defence of former top cop Clint Rickards' sexual behaviour. Pandemonium exploded. Matthew's stormy exit was so fast I didn't have time to react.
