Hi George,

Several issues can cause what you watched today. One, we have
a large seller and one basic mm is covering all buys. Two, we
are witnessing short covering. Three, the mm's could be doing
a straight out short(not in my opinion but possible).

MM's can absorb or sell off as much inventory as they choose....it's
their game and their rules...

Lou

GE,

I may have your answer. I just finished talking with Joe Murphy. He was still at the office and he was extremely tired so the conversation was short and to the point. After the close today everbody at DCI was perplexed as to what was holding the price down with so many individual buys today. With the help of their stock watch company (Morrow & Co.) they were able to pinpoint the big seller as a short seller to the tune of between 80000-100000 shares. Joe mentioned the BD's name as Wood-Gundie. I probably did not spell the name correctly but it is pronounced as you see it. They were able to determine the total position at the BD at 100000 shares. Joe's feeling is that the short seller is tapped out or very close to it. If Morrow & Co. is correct it will not take very much buying to move the bid up. If infact we have all guessed right in that DCI plans to do a buy back any time soon, I would not want to be short 100000 shares of DCI.

Best Regards
