So far SI is acceptable on all 3 levels and dealing with some of the mental midgets here is certainly entertaining. If the day comes when those values cease to be at a level i find acceptable, I will be out of here. I think if Google were to change the name of google + to google social and integrate google finance into it, facebook would become the next myspace, as in becoming devalued by a factor of 10 and a ghost town turned into a place for family and friends to stay in touch, but not on a minute basis. I still can't believe the SEC and the talking heads on CNBC allow facebook to claim 1.2 billion members when so many of them are names like "girls that like to say fuck" and do nothing but post pictures all day. Those type of accounts shouldn't be counted as they are obviously also on FB as at least one other name and probably many other names and surely can't be cliking on the ads. Once the advertisers start to catch on that although they may want a presence on FB, they don't need to advertise on it, as the ads can't be very effective, FB will fall like a rock and the next best thing will take over at the top of the social hill. As far as twitter goes, am i the only one that can't stand the way discovery networks puts tweets on the screen from idiots that are sitting home now tweeting at their tv? I'm sure they are the same annoying people that yell at the movie in the theater and talk at the TV at home. That being said the 4 channels I used to watch most were all owned by discovery network. I have since canceled my TV service and use chromecast as NBC, CBS and ABC all have full episodes available online and ABC has started a "stream your local ABC feed" feature in some parts of the country, I'm assuming in the areas where a digital antennae would receive their broadcast TV for free. the nice thing about watching full episodes on line is you effectively have a built in DVR, as they leave the episodes up, you can pause them, fast forward them, you just can't avoid the commercials which just like the old days before cable and allows you to go to the kitchen for a snack or drink. Is history repeating itself where the big 3 networks are free and supported by commercials? Sure seems that way to me. I just don't have to yell out to my dad on a windy day and tell him "Right there Dad" as he tries to adjust the antennae for a clearer picture
