CLK,

I talked with Val yesterday. Things are firming up for a Jan 5th start date. He said drilling would only take a few days, then, a few days for analysis: maybe 10 days in all. After drilling this one, then the well crew will move directly on to a second site.

I don't think they will have a problem of getting a JV. In addtion to the various companies they have already contacted with the way things are going in the gold market there may be many gold exploration co's on their door step too. I've seen that happen with other plays. For instant, AOW in the Green River Basin play.

Of course, we need to think about the risk here. One way to address that is to diversify. Not in gold, for me, anyway. I've become what you might call a gold bear but a silver bull. (Gold set another new low yesterday, but silver just reach $5.81 in London.) My favorite there is CFB. I know it has a lot of shares, but the rest of the play more than makes up for that, IMO. And, frankly, there aren't that many silver plays surviving.
