Jane, thanks for explanation.

Some comments:

"How Common Is Bilirubin?"

The answer may be: absolutely. Everyone has it (including you and me). High concentration could be a problem, but that's another story.

" What Exactly Is Bilirubin

It is a liver-related disease ..."
Not really. Rather a red bile pigment. Please, compare: diabetis mellitus is a metabolic desease. It's characterised, in severe cases, by chronic hyperglycemia. But glucose is not a desease.

"...that usually occurs within the first few weeks of a child's life. if the disease is not caught in time and then treated, the results can be varying degrees of central nervous system damage and/or brain damage, called kernicterus. If left untreated, it is ultimately fatal."

Too pessimistic. At some point increse of bilirubin concentration just reflects normal natural process of metabolism restructuring. For normal, healthy infants it is not dangerous. Diagnostic is simple.Treatment, excluding really severe cases, is also simple (light).

About pricing (from the previous posts):
Post I answered to was about med. applications. May be I missed something, but I did not know that 150$ device supposed be used in med practice and was approved by FDA.

Can anyone post: how many hospitals in the US could be interested in CCSI product?

All comments and opinions will be appreciated.
