Gold is a small part of carry trade. Thank Ben and other CB ilk for saving that crap in 2008. I lost track of the current number of zeroes for this bubble, as US OTC is moving to ice exchange in Atlanta. One definitely needs to add exchange traded derivatives and OTC. Shadow market has shadow accounting. That's how gold is valued, that's what controls it. For now. Then of course hedge fund buyers turn sellers because of the chart. Is moving derivatives to exchange a solution? Let's see. The clearing house has a quadrillion dollars? -g- Miners appear to hold a bit better than gold for the last few days, let's see if this signals a turn.
