Here is a company that has averaged me about 15%-20% a week return for the last 2 months... This isn't a short term trade... it just goes up and up with little volume. If you like a solid long term play here is one for you. There is no need for me to hype it, just look at the results.

Tim - your argument has merit if you assume that all bad news get announced after the bell but bad news do get announced during the day. Your bad news could be also a good news for another stock. For instance, a competitor could announce a new product during the day that will send your stock down. But I agree with you that most bad news are announced after the bell.

Hi Tim: Re Lesson Learned.

So true. I cant get to my computer enough (at work) and so cant do daytrading yet. I am trying to track just a few stocks and get really really familiar with their action-Coms especially, it isnt as volatile as usrx was but still hops around a bit. (Smaller companies would be better because I 'd like to be able to get 1000 shares at a time or at least 500). For now I'm doing it on paper.
I had a great list of dos and donts for this year-my first year as an active buyer and seller of stocks. I didnt follow my list, Iallowed a 100% gain in August to turn into a 35% gain. Because I didnt hold to my "sell" points. It caused me great emotional pain because I felt stupid and besides I'm generally too emotional anyway! But the aggravation taught me that I better follow my plan or else I'll be sorry! I thought I could learn without making mistakes.
Ha Ha Ha.
