John-

Offhand, I can't think of any site that lists insider ownership. Insider and institutional ownership are criteria which I consider last. Although they are important, they won't cause me to eliminate an otherwise excellent candidate. When a few stocks have passed the initial screening tests, I read their SEC filings, including the 14A (proxy), which discloses stock ownership.

If you had followed Motley Fool's debt advice, you would have missed SMTC. I think SMTC had debt/equity of .05 when I found it. It has been paying off the debt with free cash flow, so its debt/equity is now .01. At the end of this FY, SMTC will be debt-free, most likely.

Thanks for the "hot tip" on BIPL. I'll take a look.
