I have sold puts on Csco.

I took a small profit on the 17 -with the hope of buying them back cheaper and have a lrger position on the 15's.

Csco is stalled today at 23.84 with big supply when it trades up there.

My feeling is the stock will be pushed back lower regardless of the earnings margins guidance.

Csco should be below 23 or the MM will lose inventory - if so he'll push it lower to get the inventory back.

Just my unsophisticated guess.

I hope it knocks a homerun as I'd like to let my puts expire worthless and keep the money.

Hope that helps.

Bob

I would say they are due for a good report. There have been terrific reports and lousy ones within their sector, so it's a tough call. It's encouraging that they've moved north into the report.

Don't have any insight that would be worth hanging a trade on....unfortunately.
