I've got to say, I'm very disappointed in Obama after this ACA rollout. It has me questioning my defense of him re: having never run anything in his life, certainly no large organizations, and being too inexperienced to be president.

Blind defensiveness is just blind. I'm someone that personally NEEDS the ACA to be a success.

We won't have these questions with Hillary.

I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up in NJ. Then spent my college years in the midwest. Didn't hit NC until 1969 when the Army sent me to Ft. Bragg. Then got married in 1971 and me the wife (military brat) moved to California and lived there 10 years. So factually you are just incorrect about me being born and bred a Southerner/Tarheel.

And Meta, I'm just calling em as i see em. If the WH is screwing up it is screwing up. You may not like this, but your failure to acknowledge this it is not going to the Democrats any favors going forward.

Here is excerpt from a news story in the WSJ this morning about Democratic Senator (NC) Kay Hagan's problems right now due to the WH muffing the rollout:

"A poll released this by Public Policy Polling, a Democratic firm based in NC, showed that the Republicans vying for a chance to face Mrs. Hagan next year are locked in statistical dead heat with her. For much of the year they were trailing by double digits.

The poll found that 49% of NC voters disapprove of Mrs. Hagan's performance, up[ 10 percentage points from September. Noting the torrent of attack ads [against Hagan tying her to Obamacare], Tom Jensen, of Public Polling said, "Watching TV in NC right now you'd think it was September 2014 instead of November 2013"

So this is but one example of one Democratic Senate Candidate who is in deep right now due to the WH's missteps. I'm sure the other 11 Democratic Senators who met with Obama last week have similar problems.
The key to the Democrats retaining some control of the government is to address the problems as the President, finally, attempted to do yesterday. And for loyal party members to give thier reps feed back as to what is happening on the ground where they are.
