Jane; It looks like you are becoming a punching bag. I don't know about the rift you have with some of the others here but I think they have been reading the post's for awhile and there vent's are being exhausted. Robert and some of the others know what they are conveying in there messages and it offends me deeply and I am sure others as well. I think the problem that they have with you is that you are trying to play Devils advocate here. Working this out and coming on neutral ground will not work, if there is no love and care for other people and their religions. I myself am not against any religion,or creed as long as they show respect and love for others. What I am saying is that you seem to want to please everyone or work out a solution so we can all get along that simply will not work until they denounce there racist remarks. I feel strongly Jane that you are no KKK OR close to it you are just searching for some truth that works for you (a spiritual meaning). To myself my relationship with God is a simple one, my wife is more into scriptures than I am. I do the following on a daily basis to see the truth from God. Sit yourself down and strip yourself of all pride, look at yourself as an empty vessel. You first have to acknowledge that you are not perfect now I think we all agree that Jesus does exist so you will start off by asking for one who shed his blood for all man kinds sin then ask for forgiveness of all sin, including pride. Once you do that ask to receive the truth and to fill your body and soul with his spirit and wisdom for you are seeking the truth. If you do this Jane I feel things will look much clearer as this works for myself. I do this quite often but the sequence of how you do it I find important. Satan may think he is Jesus but he didn't shed his blood for our sins he is a deceiver and a liar thats why it's so important to ask for the one who shed his blood for your sins (Jesus) you have to strip away pride because Satan uses that as a vessel to enter as well. All of the hate groups are big in there pride and when they pray they may think they are getting wisdom from Jesus but actually receiving the deception of Satan. I don't usually convey my feelings on this but I feel you are sincerely looking for the truth. God wishes for none to perish but you must come to him as a child to receive his teachings. There are some teachers and pastors ect..... that are excellent but only very few exist when you receive Gods full spirit you will start to think and feel differently when you listen to mans teachings I take what they say with a grain of salt I let my spirit guide my thoughts. As I said before my Wife reads the Bible for hours everyday It drives me nuts especially when I am trying to find my socks :-) but she really loves the lord, I honestly have never meet anyone else as deep into learning Gods word as she is. Heck I am lucky if I pick up the Bible once a month I guess God knew what he was doing when he put us both together. I avoid going to service because sometimes they drive me crazy I just like the simple life and don't get into all the bouncing around and clapping hands in those buildings. Anyway it seems like you and Nancy are conversing so I will hop of this one for now. Alan
