Yes, to get rid of them. It's bullish though, imo, because he didn't get or compel or allow the company to buy back those shares, which apparently was in the original deal. Instead he bought them back for himself or his family. Why would he do that, and pay $4 per share when he was earlier buying small at ~$2? He must see or believe something very positive in doing that. Jmo.

An 85 year-old retired guy ought to be taking money out of his company, not putting it in (making an investment in it). Unless he sees something very positive in doing that. Maybe it's a control premium he wants for himself/his family. I don't know. I'll bet on him though, and ride the stock with him.
