The problem with towing a car behind a MH is this.
You have to disconnect the car to back up.

We had a 31' Holiday Rambler 5th wheel with one slide. Installed a propane generator and a sat dish and
made several lengthy cross country trips with it. One trip was 7 months. Towed it with a 4x4 diesel pick-up.
That was our favorite rig for long trips.

We did have a few camper blowouts with the old 4 ply 15" tires. That problem is solved now as 16" 6 ply tires and wheels are now available on 5th wheels.

When we sold the 5th W, we bought a 26' Born Free MH. No slide but did have Sat and generator. Longest trip in it was about 90 days and we loved it for easy city driving. A couple of times we had lengthy stays and just rented a car locally.
