Just be thankful Summers was too impolitic, to put it mildly, to be selected.

Here is a bit of comic relief for the weekend: Krugman endorsing Summers' views that bubbles are necessary, never mind that they always pop and leave years of pain and sorrow in their wake.

How is it possible that those two are taken seriously?
