Oh, I agree. But I also think it's important to separate the charter school concept from the "for profit" concept. The charter schools in Jersey are not for profit. I don't know what sort of salary range fits nor do I know what the state regulations are for those salaries.

So you've got me thinking. Fortunately, my district has no charter competing for public school dollars. So I've not had a pressing personal need to check it out.
