I see your point, CJ, but that's not exactly the same thing.

No one is telling Bentway to buy the beans, bullets, and bandages that our soldiers need. He may be paying for it indirectly via his federal income taxes, but AFAIK Bentway hasn't paid any for quite a while.

On the other hand, health care providers are being forced to do procedures that they may object to on moral or religious grounds. This is to support abortion "on demand."

That would be akin to pulling Bentway out of his house, putting a gun into his hands, and telling him to go fight for the military or spend time in the brig, a.k.a. the draft.
