Actually, thank you for the long chapter. I think you have this just right: it's a pure speculation play at this point due to the company's unorthodox approach. All I can say about the company president being worried that someone will design via computer a compound that mimics what Diab II does is the following: "huh?". It simply can't happen. He clearly knows very little about drug discovery or is, as you say, very paranoid. Good luck. I continue to dig, as there may be something here.
