It was funny, my SIL is a very dignified fellow and never engages in much banter or hyperbole. The rest of us not so much, but he commands the top dog status in every way including sanity. He had not said a word and it was me against my ex, they call her nanna and her husband baba-lol. Both lawyers, both in high level dem politics for 40 years (they both worked closely with all dem govs). Very liberal and usually on the right side of everything. But when they both came at me, then he spoke up and those were his words. And he was a bit animated. He doesn't do animated-lol. Bush's failure provided us with a "window of opportunity for two years and now it is lost". His words spoken directly to my queen bee ex wife. She really bosses people around as she is the smartest of us all and the most manipulative, IMO. And that was that. Except I was surprised to see my daughter chime in: "don't make me have to defend Obama she said".
