Paul, We can talk about the Asian problems, and their are problems, but life goes on. Realisticly, I don't expect to see many instances when all regions of the world are prosperous and experiencing good growth all at the same time. When I track mutual fund performance around the world, some segments are always up and some always down. Asian problems don't deminish Intels high tech dominance, technology, or long range future. As for short term plays, Of course I think your 75 1/2 buy will turn out to be a very good move. but you seem to think no one else on this thead knows how to profit short term. I would suspect many are making short term money too, as you are, or using options to do it. But many have a low cost basis and don't wish to disturb it for tax purposes. Probably feels darn good to have a basis of a buck or two. Wish I did. If you like short term trading, though, or options, the premiums on Intel aren't the best to be had. You could probably make better money short terming another stock. As for Asis, its a shame, it will probably cost those people dearly in their standard of living, but life and investing continues. If you have good ideas on short term trading, and you expressed them in a positive fashion, I think you would be well recieved. Many of us appreciate info like this that can make us money, but the "I told you so" game just alianates people. If you worked with us and not against us, even if you have a differing opinion, I think it would be appreciated. Share your insight in a positive way so we can all benefit together. Good luck on your 75 1/2 buy. I imagine it will be a quick winner. Do you ever sell Puts to puck up shares at a lower than market cost? good luck, Lee
