Longbow 2 from ERTS is a 3DFX only title.

And there are many others coming down the pipe.
Your assertion that 3DFX will be seriously challenged
is warrented, but as a Software writer you should
appreciate the MAIN REASON for 3DFX's popularity.

It's easy for programmers to write software for it.

That's why most E3 conference demo's of hot new games
like Quake 2 were "shown off" on 3DFX. Cause it was
the quickest platform that programmers could get
working onto the screen. I'm sure as a programmer
you can also appreciate that once a software developement
tool/platform is in place and vastly accepted and
written to, it becomes much more difficult to displace.
What software developer has time to learn yet another
environment/silicon to write to especially when the
Lion's share of useful 3D chips is already Voodoo!

I'm sure with more time, someone can compile a
3DFX only game list, but believe me, it's already
long enough to make their competitors very nervous.

Note: People should realize that when a game is
written to 3DFX, that does NOT mean it won't run
without it. That simply means that a significant
amount of performance and additional special effects
will be seen, when the title runs on a Voodoo chip;
enough to make you wanna spend the $150 to get one.
