Bay Watcher, You are very perceptive. FWIW, I still doubt a buyout figure below 45 and certainly below 40, particularly given comments on this issue by persons on this thread, including Maverick and Leeza Rodriguez. But, as Ejabat said on October 9, "anything in this market is doable." Gary Korn P.S. I have to admit, though, that my favorite snippet on this buyout rumor was from the Motley Fool. It was said there that ASND has counteroffered at 40 and that LU was planning to counter that number with an offer at 42. I wish that would happen in all my negotiations, or even in just one of my negotiations.
