If you follow your bible it does not matter if your headman is born into that position or elected and it doesn't matter if your form of government is a theocracy like in ancient Israel a communist dictatorship a democracy or a constitutional republic. None of these things will have any bearing or consequence to what the bible outlines as to how you are to conduct yourself. Romans 9:17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." Romans 13:1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
