It wasn't a bubble, it was irrational exuberance, which will pull back and then return to its path upward as the overall market for use continues to grow globally.

the government has no choice and will not be stopping it. China's government would have a better chance to stop it since most bitcoin exchanges have their banking in china or hong kong, but they have no intention of destroying BTC

and it is actually at about $550 currently
