Obama can't replace Sebelius -- can you imagine a Senate hearings under the current circumstances?

Good point. That would be rough. But it also comes to mind that we are dealing with a guy who knows how to think out of the box. He might actually take this path - but only IF he himself concludes that the "reform" was hopelessly stillborn, and will never make it without major restructuring. He could throw Sebelius under the bus, and - in a loss-cutting move a la Syria - make it, indirectly, the responsibility of the Congress to do the derailing and re-writing of the "reform". Whatever (overdue compromise) comes out of it, he'll still claim credit.

Appointing some RINO Rep as the new boss of DHS would be a nice touch.

I realize it's all fantasies at this point, but who knows, this prez seems to be an imaginative schemer.
