I know that. I also know many very smart people who didn't do well in school, or didn't like school and that is fine. But they are smart and I like to support that in them. One of my best friends is like that and working on my bathroom right now. He is smart as hell, but hated school. I tell him how smart he is all the time. Because he is smart and he has saved my ass many times and I have tremendous gratitude for that. All I am trying to encourage is as many people to go to school as possible e.g. ghetto kids or native kids. In Alaska only 6 or 7% of the native kids go to college although they can have all of it paid for plus living expenses. But it is not encouraged enough and instead they encourage the trades. Sure the native kids are still adjusting to a new culture, as are most ghetto kids. But if you can get then started well in school they usually do just fine. I am just trying to get people to realize their full potential and have a happy self confident life. Get free pre school with hot meals in those ghettos and see how well the kids start doing! It is hard to tell the difference between a totally uneducated smart kid like so many in the ghetto are) and a not so smart kid.
