The L2 cache was never on the chip, so you are clearly wrong. Re: yield problems, do you have any means of backing up this claim? I didn't think so. It is the standard AMD zelot's position. Post whatever you want, who cares about accuracy. You are doing a "Petz".

Brian, Asian markets weak again -- probably another weak day for semi's in general. The SOX index is not far from setting a new closing low and then a new intraday low. I expect Dell to crunch soon.

I talked to KIWI computers -- he said their K6-266 notebook is being stress tested and probably won't be released until slightly after Christmas at stores like COMPUSA, Fry's and mail order vendors that use Ingram. He doesn't expect any problems because the chip runs cool.
