To whomever is interested:

God knows I had to read through a lot of posts. Fortunately, the vast majority was not the kind of junk HL was infamous for. Chris, I wouldn't sell a single share now. Considering buying more (unfortunately, problem is limited funds). I think what we saw today is the really nervous investors being shaken out and, as Chris Inglis pointed out, short term investors selling because the timing of news was not what they planned for.

As for Ledoux, Liontamer did not say he had information that it has any suspicions that its samples may have been tampered with. He was simply surmising that that may be the reason for their reluctance to certify now. This is very important because there is absolutely no evidence that Ledoux suspects any tampering. Apparently they are getting extraordinary results and, as I believe Mark Silvers said, that's where their concern probably lies. They probably want to do additional testing to verify the consistency of the results. The technology used is new and I'm sure they want to feel absolutely comfortable with it. That is not unreasonable given what is at stake here. Ledoux's impeccable reputation is on the line and they want to make sure that they can back up their certification without any question. To me, that demonstrates consummate professionalism and I fully understand, support and respect it. The timeline is almost unbearable for many of us but I want fully confident third party verification and that's what Ledoux's actions shows we're going to get (yes, I'm quite confident that we will get it, it's only a matter of time IMHO).

Again, it's important that we not jump to conclusions and surmise, as Liontamer did, that Ledoux has any question about violation of strict COC protocols. Maybe Kim Brasington can clarify this issue if at all possible. I would not be concerned if Kim cannot do so at this time since Ledoux may simply be telling the company it wants more time to confirm the consistency of its results through further testing. That by no means necessarily leads to the conclusion that COC is an issue.

I'm long on Naxos but as impatient as anyone else. However, I want solid certification from Ledoux, even if I have to wait the undying two more weeks to get it.

Cheer up, the rewards will be worth the excruciating wait. If it doesn't turn out good, what can I say, we gambled on a good bet and lost. However, I don't believe it will take a turn for the worse, after all Ledoux has already certified the presence of gold through standard fire assaying of .483+ opt (see May 15, 1997 News Release at naxosresource.com. Therein lies my cause for optimism.

All JMHO.
