IN - See Andy Gabor's home page for scans. All are excellent, some I don't understand yet. The problem is that, while some is his call for basing periods, it is difficult to scan for Bollinger bands in Q+, as they define Standard Deviation in terms of the average pricefor the period, not the moving average9, 50, etc. Here is ont that Dick Brown gave me from the Q+ T/A thread: //Dick's Bollinger scan Allgroup // Find stocks with a high standard deviation loop(-3,-3) AvgVol(0,-29) >=5000 // And 50,000 shares average volume StDev(-20 , -49 )>stdev(0,-19)*4.0 Here's Andy's home page: geocities.com Good luck! -Al
