Is anyone buying at these levels, or is this one going even lower (what else is new about CYRX losing a chunk of $$?)

Joe,

Based on my last experiments and the Ali's report on the L2 cacheless systems, Pentium, PMMX and PII will achieve approx. 70% level of the Business Winstone97 ratings. M2 would off 15%.

K6's L1 cache is not efficient as M2. It would be reasonable to expect that an L2 cacheless K6 would achieve 80% BusinessWinstone rating of a normal one.

I won't be surprised if MediaGXm 220Mhz outperform both cacheless sub-$1,000 Pentium 233 and K6 233 in businesses Winstone97

NSM should dump PR rating and present the PC world with performance and price advantage, not the me-too from PR rating.

Pionex has been around a while. They sell through Sam's Wholesale Club. <Wal-Mart>
Not a known brand name though.
