Interesting...I wonder what would have happened to the moon success if the repugs had tried over 40 times to defund/ cancel the effort, gone to the Supreme Court to declare the American effort "unconstitutional", got their repug governors to fight it in the states and stirred up their crazies to fight the moon launch because it was government socialism, which by golly it was and then even made it their key point of the 1968 election. Well one thing would happened, we would not have had Nixon but the repugs would be still doing everything they could to stop this "socialism" effort which in spite of them became an American success as will ObamaCare.
