Max: I can think of various reasons for the decent sized put take. Those were in the money on Dec. 3. But one thing I doubt is that it was a bet on any negative news happening around this time. If that were the motivation, one would think the Christmas puts or Jan would be more cost effective. BWDIK?
What's the OI on the Dec 30's?

Interesting observation though. You caught me asleep at the wheel on that one. I usually check that.

That is certainly a big block. I think someone is very smart. IOM had shot up a lot during COMDEX. It was due for a dip. I am jealous more than anything else.
