Thanks Chromac, it seems that the Analog Devices chip could be used in digital videocameras, because the tape medium can store lots of data. Asyou know, most cameras use DVC, which uses only intraframe encoding.

Wavelet processing combined with interframe encoding would be a nice combo.

Chromac,

ADI Technologies just posted the specifications for their Apogee D-2 chip on their home page at adi.net and appear to be almost ready to go to market. I was wondering if you could give us the opposing view to what they have and its market potential.
